AWESOME!!!! It is so great to go back and see the same kids each time.... of course some are no longer there and there are always new faces as well, but I love the connection. Especially when their faces light up. AND this time I can actually converse with them!.... [Chilero! This is Guatemalan slang for 'Awesome!']
I taught 2 classes in the morning and two in the afternoon, the kids were great! I also taught 7 teachers for an hour before lunch. I AM BEAT! and I'm losing my voice AGAIN, but I don't care, because I am having a blast.
Today was a great day to watch the yoga work. And because my Spanish is not even close to the speed or comprehension of my English....I don't talk as much. I think its good in someways to help the kids be in a class with less talking, but at the same time, I look forward to the continued improvement of my Spanish to get things more easily across in my classes.
The highlight of my day was when I was walking from one classroom to another and had to go through the class room of students I had already taught. When one of the students say me he said.... 'La clase de Yoga, otra vez!' This means 'yoga class again!' .....yeah that basically made my face hurt from smiling.
